Web TV studios facilities
The department Broadcast Solutions Division Comart undertakes design, installation and support projects for Web TV studios. Through Web TV studio installations, interviews - discussions, shows of all kinds, presentations as well as snapshots from other locations can be produced and broadcast via the internet using an external crew. In addition, the possibility of live broadcast (Live) or Video on demand is provided for internet users 24 hours a day.
Comart's experience in implementing similar installations combined with the completeness of solutions from its partners - manufacturers make the company an ideal partner for similar projects.
For Comart's Web TV studio solutions, we recommend products and technologies from companies such as Yamaha, Panasonic, Newtek, Blackmagic Design, Building4Media, Dexel, Lupo, Arri, Fostex and others.
For reliable upload of the signal from the Web TV studio to the internet, ADSL, 3G, satellite, or any other connection via a special router are recommended.
Some simple guidelines for webcasts Close-ups Most webcast viewers watch them on a computer monitor, usually up to 24 inches, but also on smartphones with very small screen diagonals. For better performance on such screens, it is advisable to avoid long shots. Shots above the sternum and up to the top of the head should be preferred. One camera In general, the way the camera is used and other conventional production methods that are widely used in television broadcasts are not suitable for webcast productions. For example, a single camera is usually used and usually processing is done before the material is "uploaded" to the internet, so that floor directors and double or multiple cameras are not necessary. ¬¬There are cases where multiple cameras can be used for an event or for parallel broadcasts so that the two signals can then be processed in a post production environment. However, the live change from camera to camera is not necessary for a simple webcast production. Neutral colors Backgrounds should preferably be simple and color-neutral. Complex graphics, slide shows, “Chroma key” or green-screen are not necessary since the shots are in most cases very close. It is advisable to avoid white or black backgrounds. White backgrounds will literally “shine” while black or very dark backgrounds will create a problem of clarity with presenters with dark clothes or hair. In addition, strongly striped and printed clothes should not be used as they will appear to “move” on the screen due to the “moire” phenomenon. The “news desk” should also be color-neutral, shiny surfaces such as glass, stainless steel, etc. will reflect light. In most cases, the desk will not be visible due to the very close shots. Lighting The lighting of the set should be done carefully. Powerful halogen lamps should illuminate the presenter from the front and from the sides of the face. Backlighting will make the presenter stand out from the background. Slightly brighter lighting on one side and above the presenter will create a pleasant three-dimensional feeling. Under no circumstances should fluorescent lamps be used as they create a “sick” blue tone everywhere. Sound The use of professional microphones is recommended for best results. Ideally, wireless or wired lavaliere microphones should be used which will be routed to the computer via a mixing console to improve quality. Tabletop microphones do not “follow” the sound of a moving presenter like lavaliere microphones and can visually disrupt the shot. Camera A stable base for the camera is essential. A tripod with a moving head and one on high-quality casters are ideal if you need to move the camera during the broadcast. Additionally, “Steadicam” supports should be used for hand-held camera shots to minimize “shake” The camera should be remotely controlled via remote control to avoid bouncing during a broadcast when adjustments need to be made. The camera should be placed at a slight angle from the presenter/subject to create a more interesting shot. Source: http://www.ehow.com/how_6149321_build-news-tv-studio-broadcasting.html
