Internally, the 1big Dock features a Seagate IronWolf Pro 7,200rpm professional hard drive. Four storage options are available, ranging from 4 TB to 16 TB.
With such a device, file transfer speeds are crucial. Copying a full 64GB SD card to the hard drive takes about ten minutes, which equates to about 100MB/sec, while the drive is capable of transferring files at least 230MB/sec to or from an external SSD.
