Following in the footsteps of Adobe, Affinity and others, Apple has just announced a 90-day free trial of its Professional Cut Pro video editor for professionals, extending the usual 30-day free trial and allowing existing trial users to start over.

The move, inspired by the coronavirus pandemic and the new reality many of us are facing "staying at home", is great news for anyone who wants to continue working but can't afford the current costs. Apple also plans to roll out a 90-day free trial for Logic Pro X, its professional audio editor.

To learn more about Final Cut Pro X or to start your free 90-day trial, head over to Apple's website and click the “Free Trial” button in the upper right corner of the page. If you've already started a 30-day free trial of Final Cut, Apple says you'll need to return to the site and download a new version to go back to the original time and get the full 90 days.
