Blackmagic Camera for iOS 2.0

Blackmagic Design today released Blackmagic Camera for iOS 2.0.

This update adds support for remotely controlling and monitoring multiple iPhones simultaneously. This means your iPhone can be set up as a controller so iPhones with Blackmagic Camera App can connect securely using a wired network or Wi-Fi.

Cameras in multi-view

This allows you to view all of your cameras in a multi-view, allowing you to monitor and control functions such as zoom, focus, white balance, frame rate, shutter angle or lens selection on a single camera, or adjust all connected cameras at once.

It also lets you sync all your cameras so they start and stop recording at the same time.

iPad Pro support

This update also adds support for iPad Pro, allowing you to use iPad as a camera or controller.

When used as a controller, the iPad's larger screen makes it easy to monitor multiple cameras either in a multi-view setup with up to nine cameras on screen at a time, or by scrolling through each individual camera.

Additionally, this update adds support for shooting up to 100 fps in HD on the iPhone 15 Pro. There's also a new option to select multiple clips in the media tab so you can copy or delete them all at once.

This feature speeds up your workflow by allowing you to quickly and easily clean up space or copy clips to an external drive.

Blackmagic Camera for iOS 2.0 is available as a free download from the Apple App Store.
