Blackmagic Design: New Products Blackmagic Desing continues to work hard to create some powerful and professionally designed products that will inspire you creatively.
Recently announced are two new Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K models, four completely redesigned HyperDeck Studio models and the new Blackmagic Web Presenter 4K.
DaVinci Resolve 17.3 was also released and a new, lower price was announced for the Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 12K to make high resolution workflows more affordable.

New Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K
A new family of Blackmagic Studio Cameras for live production has recently been introduced. These new models have the same features as large studio cameras, miniaturized in a single compact and portable design. Additionally, with digital camera dynamic range and color science, cameras can handle extremely challenging lighting conditions while producing cinematic-looking images. The sensor has an ISO of up to 25,600, so you can create stunning images even in low-light areas. It even works under moonlight! Advanced features include talkback, tally, camera control, built-in color corrector, Blackmagic RAW recording to USB drives and more! You can even add focus and zoom demand for lens control.
HyperDeck Studio
HyperDeck Studio allows you to record broadcast quality video files directly to SD cards and SSD media! The newly redesigned HyperDeck studios feature a modern design with more encoders and quieter cooling. All models now support recording to H.264, Apple ProRes or DNxHD files with PCM or AAC audio. Plus, the 4K model adds support for H.265 files! When you're done recording, the media can be placed on any computer to access the files using your desired video software. For ISO burning, there are even built-in timecode and reference generators for multi-unit sync! All these powerful features make HyperDeck Studio ideal for broadcast, live production or multi-screen digital signage!
New Blackmagic Web Presenter 4K
The new Blackmagic Web Presenter 4K model features an upgraded H.264 Ultra HD codec for live streaming in HD or Ultra HD natively. The compact design includes a 12G-SDI input with down converter so you can choose to stream in 1080p HD or 2160p Ultra HD resolution. This new model also simulates a USB camera when connected to computers, and the USB camera function also supports 1080p HD or 2160p Ultra HD resolutions.
DaVinci Resolve 17.3
DaVinci Resolve 17.3 adds an all-new processing engine that transforms the speed of DaVinci Resolve to run up to 3x faster on Apple Mac models with the M1 chip. With this massive speed boost, you can now render, edit and grade 4K projects faster, and you can even work on 8K projects on an Apple M1 laptop. The new editing engine uses tiled rendering, which also gives you up to 30% longer battery life on laptops when working in DaVinci Resolve.
