Flexible design
The new model has a brightness of 1500 nits and three customizable buttons, for quick access to functions such as zebra, focus assist and false color. The display can be mounted almost anywhere, making it ideal for use on rigs or when accessories block the camera's internal display. In addition, its durable construction ensures long-term use even in the most demanding filming conditions, while the removable shade allows comfortable use in bright light.
Full control
The Blackmagic PYXIS Monitor offers full camera control via the touchscreen, allowing users to access all camera menus and settings. They can also import digital plate information and load custom 3D LUTs for a truly cinematic workflow. The ability to adjust settings in real-time helps filmmakers achieve the desired aesthetic without lag, while the built-in waveform and vectorscope function offers accurate exposure and color tracking.
Ease of use
The display connects to the camera via a single USB-C cable, which provides video, power and camera control. The cable has locking screws on both ends for a secure and stable connection. In addition, the monitor supports hot-swap functionality, allowing battery changes without interrupting operation, and has a built-in tally light for easy identification of recording status.
