Blackmagic Design has announced the immediate availability of the Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Plus G2. The newest studio camera model that adds 12G-SDI and allows connection to SDI devices such as the ATEM Constellation.
The new model adds support for remote camera control over networks via REST API and talkback to 3.5mm headphones. THE Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Plus G2 retains the same stunning 4K digital film sensor with 13 stops of dynamic range, MFT lens mount and compact all-in-one design of the previous model.
Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Plus G2
Blackmagic studio cameras have the same features as large studio cameras, in miniature in a compact and portable body. Additionally, with the dynamic range of a digital film camera and Blackmagic's color technology, the cameras can handle extremely challenging lighting conditions while producing cinematic images.
The sensor has ISO up to 25,600, for stunning images even in low light. Advanced features include talkback, camera control, built-in color corrector, Blackmagic RAW recording to USB drives, live streaming and more.
Great Flexibility
While the camera is designed for live production, it's not limited there. Krecords Blackmagic RAW to USB drives so it can be used with a tripod. The large 7″ viewfinder makes it ideal for productions such as talk shows, news broadcasting, sports, education, conference presentations and even weddings.
Large bright screen with side handles, touch screen and physical controls make monitoring shots easy while it is comfortable to use for a long time.
Connectivity
It has a high-speed USB-C port for recording to external drives, controlling the camera over a network or connecting accessories. Connect a USB flash drive to record high-quality 12-bit Blackmagic RAW files for later editing and color correction. Aplus connect the drive to a computer without wasting time copying files.
Piplug in a USB-C to Ethernet adapter to control the camera over a network with Rest API. Users can even copy files from the camera over the network. Plus, attach the optional focus and zoom controls for full lens control, just like a large studio camera.
