Blackmagic Design URSA Mini 4.6K
Blackmagic has announced that it is starting deliveries in the new Blackmagic Design URSA Mini 4.6K camera but also the Micro Cinema Digital Film. For the cameras, which have been announced for some time, there is already a long waiting list of interested professionals.
Over the last few months Blackmagic engineers have been hard at work integrating functionality Global Shutter in these models, which delayed their production, but in the end it was decided that the final quality was not what was desired and so it was decided to produce without Global Shutter but with Wide Dynamic Range.
In recent tests by photographers and videographers the results with the Wide Dynamic Range they were impressive. For professionals who need Global Shutter function there is the option of it URSA Mini 4K which is already on the market with great success.

Blackmagic wanted to test the capabilities of the camera on different conditions so the scenario included different times of the day, night shots with artificial and natural lighting, different scenery, indoor and outdoor shooting, close and far, drone shooting etc. He also wanted to show the ease of use offered by the new URSA Mini camera in real conditions and its amazing results.
The video mentions the different lenses used for the various shots, peripherals such as the lights, the drone etc. but also the techniques and some settings chosen for better quality in production. For each scene with its particular requirements, the results of combining the camera's capabilities with the use of specific lighting and techniques are presented.
The dynamic range of URSA it produced excellent footage in all conditions even in low light shots such as night, indoor, etc. The construction and light weight of the camera made it ideal for demanding drone scenes. Also its dynamic range helped in those shots that often require shots with large camera rotations up to 360 degrees where lighting conditions change dramatically.
Its dynamic range helped even in mixed indoor and outdoor shots at the same time in different lighting conditions. Finally, high homogeneity and cooperation with the DaVinci Resolve included for color corrections and post production.
