Blackmagic Design presented the new model of the series Ultrastudio!
Whether you're working on-set or in post-production, the UltraStudio gives you digital movie capture and playback that can be used for any workflow. UltraStudio is perfect for everything from editing, color and visual effects to live capture and monitoring during production.
There are even models with 12G-SDI and support for the latest formats HDR, to ensure that high end colorists have everything they need for viewing on broadcastin screens, HDR TVs or the latest digital cinema projectors. UltraStudio can even be used to feed SDI key and RGB key directly from a computer to a live production switcher for stunning live graphics.
The new model UltraStudio 4K Mini is a portable download and playback solution Thunderbolt 3 which is combined with the latest broadcast technology including 12G-SDI, HDMI 2.0 and analog connections. It provides broadcast quality 8 and 10-bit high dynamic capture in all formats up to 4K DCI at 60p, and 12-bit high dynamic recording in all formats up to 4K DCI at 30p. The front panel features push-button controls, an LCD display for signal and setup monitoring, an XLR microphone input, and a ¼” headphone jack.
The UltraStudio 4K Mini has USB for connecting a keyboard and mouse, and in addition it will charges your laptop computer when the Thunderbolt 3 port is connected. There's even a built-in SD card reader which allows direct access to the camera's media cards!
