LaCie has partnered with DJI, a leading manufacturer of drones and aerial photography systems, to create the Lacie DJI Copilot, a durable portable hard drive with a built-in battery, display screen, SD card slot and 2TB capacity.
Use without a computer
The new external drive DJI Copilot by LaCie is adressed to photographers, drone operators and videographers in order to facilitate outdoor filming. It is the first product of the new LaCie “BOSS” series – Backup On-Set Solutions aimed at creative professionals as well as demanding hobbyists. The LaCie DJI Copilot takes copies of photo files, videos, etc. with a built-in battery, sd card reader and USB-C cable with direct input (ingest) without the use of a laptop, simplifies the process, manages the files and at the same time offers the possibility of charging laptops devices.
It is ideal for storing media from drones, video cameras and cameras during outdoor work so you can release your devices and continue your work quickly and seamlessly.
THE built-in screen it has indicators of file transfer completion, available capacity and battery life. In addition, the application Copilot BOSS app for managing stored material from a smartphone or tablet "on the go".
