Much more than just data storage. The LaCie Porsche Design Desktop Drive harnesses the power of USB 3.1 (USB-C) and charges your laptop battery with a simple USB-C cable while you access your drive at the same time.

USB-C technology with speeds of up to 100MB/s allows for the fastest exchange of data, files, photos, etc. between devices and also fast back up. The Porsche series drives have a 3mm thick solid aluminum chassis with high durability and portability. They are designed to match the finish and color of the Apple MacBook series. In addition, they are fully compatible with Apple Time Machine for easy back up. They also have a special adapter cable for connection to USB 3.0 (Type–A) and USB 2.0 ports for connection to any compatible Mac or PC computer.
