Automatic match coverage

Mobile Viewpoint has added new multi-functionality features to its IQ Sports All-in-One production suite. The addition of two new panoramic cameras to the suite increases flexibility and allows producers to capture multiple takes for enhanced sports coverage – removing the need for full suites and production teams at live sporting events. Adding multiple cameras improves production, draws attention to key moments in a game and provides a high-quality video experience. IQ Sports Producer's artificial intelligence (“AI”) functionality also means that more exciting and engaging sports clips can be created through automated highlights and summaries.

Mobile Viewpoint's IQ Sports Producer suite can be used to produce and stream sports events from any location. It eliminates the need for expensive camera setups and production at sports venues and does not require a specialized camera crew or director.

Fixed 180° camera

The IQ Sports Producer consists of a 32MP 180° fixed position camera, which can cover an entire playing field. The solution now features two additional panoramic cameras, which can be placed on the penalty area lines of a pitch to improve coverage. Additional cameras can be used to capture more detail across the playing field or moments that are not integral to a game or match – for example, focusing on fans and spectators, coaches or injuries – meaning the fixed camera will continue to cover the main game. The cameras use AI to track players, balls or other objects during a live game.

With the IQ Sports Producer suite, sports clubs can record and broadcast live games without the need for a large production team and dedicated facilities – allowing them to own and manage their own high-quality content in a cost-effective way.
