Seagate Guardian Series
New 10TB drives from Seagate Technology, which recently introduced its new Guardian series of high-capacity internal drives for demanding applications such as video editing, NAS and surveillance systems.
Seagate, with the ultimate goal of providing users with products that will help them better manage the ever-increasing needs of digital data creation and storage, introduces the 10TB Seagate BarraCuda Pro desktop drive, Seagate IronWolf for NAS applications and Seagate Skyhawk for surveillance. The Guardian series features leading technology in terms of features, speed and capacity to meet a wide range of needs, including with the BarraCuda Pro models and use for audiovisual media and editing and managing high-resolution video files.
Innovative features in the new 10TB drives include technologies such as: multi-tier caching (MTC Technology), an intelligent caching architecture for maximum performance; AgileArray, designed to optimize traffic performance through error recovery control, dual-plane balancing and power management; and ImagePerfect for surveillance, with support for more high-resolution cameras than any other drive in the industry.
BarraCuda Pro 10TB Desktop Drive
Seagate has relaunched its wildly popular BarraCuda brand to meet the demand for high-capacity storage at an affordable price. The BarraCuda Pro combines 10TB with 7200 RPM for excellent performance, and includes energy-saving features for low operating costs, as well as a 5-year warranty.
BarraCuda meets the market demand for high-performance hard drives with 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch models offering a versatile and reliable lineup for almost any application and budget. Lightweight and robust, the 2.5-inch BarraCuda drive offers cost-per-TB options in a slim 7mm body with up to 2TB capacity.

IronWolf 10TB for NAS

Skyhawk 10TB for Surveillance
Seagate’s latest contribution to surveillance systems based on large storage solutions for network video recorders (NVRs) is the 10TB Skyhawk for Surveillance drive. Skyhawk uses rotational vibration sensors to minimize read/write errors, and can support sharp images from 64 cameras, more than any other drive on the market. Ideal for modern high-resolution systems in continuous 24/7 operation, Skyhawk also has a data recovery service option.
