Vizrt Vectar Plus: IP-based production & eexit video from anywhere!

Vizrt, Inc., announced Viz Vectar Plus. A software-only, IP-based live production solution for broadcasters. Viz Vectar Plus provides a choice of configurations for on-premise or virtualized environments in the Cloud and will run on any infrastructure that meets performance requirements.

Live production & distribution

Viz Vectar Plus can provide switching, mixing and rendering of any type of live production for distribution to TV, web and mobile, while removing the traditional boundaries of media formats, I/O, channels and distribution. Leveraging commercial flexibility and accessibility, Viz Vectar Plus can be rapidly deployed on a monthly basis, if required.

Live Call Connect

Viz Vectar Plus comes with Live Call Connect, a groundbreaking feature that leverages virtually any major video calling application in use today, including Skype, MS Teams, Zoom Meetings, Discord and more. Live Call Connect turns conference callers into separate video sources, regardless of platform.

Audio Connect

Viz Vectar Plus also comes with Audio Connect, an innovative extension using NDI. It enables a fully virtualized audio workflow connected to a wide range of audio mixing and editing applications for increased flexibility.

Unlimited possibilities

A new re-entry feature in the system allows multiple versions of the same program to be output simultaneously with different aspect ratios, resolutions and graphics. With built-in control for media players, recording, streaming, audio and graphics, Viz Vectar Plus uses standard computer hardware and network infrastructure with IP connectivity. Virtually unlimited IP video sources, including SMPTE 2110, NDI, SRT, RTMP, RTP, HTTP, SRC, can be used simultaneously, providing connectivity to all types of media devices, including the NDI|HX Camera app available for smartphones.

The Viz Vectar Plus will be available from October 2020.
